US road trip 07

Day 35 - Friday 13 th of april - Tallahassee - Orlando (256 mls / 4 h)

Weather: Tallahassee - sunny - 84°F

This morning, visit of the town. We left at 2 pm to reach Orlando at 6 pm. The weather was really nice but too hot (up to 90°F but no wind). After two hours (mainly due of the road works), we found a motel ( Orlando motel, 54 $). Tonight, we certainly going in the downtown after a bit of relaxation in the motel and particularly in the hot tub...

Jour 35 - Vendredi 13 avril - Tallahassee - Orlando (410 kms / 4 h)

Météo: Tallahassee - ensoleillé - 30°C

Ce matin, visite de la ville. On est partis à 14h pour arriver à Orlando à 18h. Le temps était vraiment beau mais il faisait trop chaud ( jusqu'à 33°C mais sans vent). Après deux heures de recherche (principalement dûes aux travaux sur les routes), on a trouvé un motel (Orlando motel, 40 eur). Ce soir, on ira surement faire un tour dans le centre ville après un peu de repos à l'hôtel et plus particulièrement dans le jackuzzi...

Day 36 - Saturday 14th of april - Orlando - Miami (235 mls / 3h30)

weather: Orlando - 93°F

This morning, we went to the insurance. As the papers weren't in orde, we have been told to change the car. We received thus a new one for the last days! We lost two hours. Then we went to Disney world, took the picture of the day and visited the downtown of Orlando. We left the town at 4 pm and arrived in Miami at 7.30 pm. we found a motel after two hours (Hollyday motel, 50 $). We are at the end of our trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But don't worry, we gonna still follow the diary for a couple of days. I (Ludovic) gonna stay here and Jerome will return the car in New York on wednesday. Thus you can still follow our adventure till wednesday....

Jour 36 - samedi 14 avril - Orlando - Miami (235 mls / 3h30)

météo: Orlando - 34°C

Ce matin, nous sommes allés à l'asurance. Comme les papiers n'étaient pas en ordre, on nous a dit qu'on devait changer de voiture. On a donc reçu une nouvelle à quelques jours de la fin! On a perdu deux heures. Ensuite nous sommes allés à Disney world où l'on a pris la photo du jour et visité le centre de Orlando. On est parti à 16h et arrivés à Miami à 19h30. On a trouvé un motel après deux heures (Hollyday motel, 37 eur). On est à la fin de notre voyagee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mais pas de panique, on va continuer le journal de bord pendant quelques jours encore. Je (Ludovic) vais rester ici et Jérome va remonter sur NY mercredi. Donc vous pourez encore suivre nos aventures jusque mercredi...

Day 37 - Sunday 15th of april - Miami

weather: Miami - cloudy - 84°F

Today, we went to a shopping center, visit a bit downtown and then look for a motel most of the afternoon. Quite all the motels are to rent for two hours... and in southbeach the only one we found was the Clay hotel (70$). In the evening we went to southbeach area.

Jour 37 - dimanche 15 avril - Miami

Météo: Miami - nuageux - 30°C

Aujourd'hui, on est allés au shopping center, visité le centre ville et cheché un motel presque tout l'après-midi. Presque tous les motels étaient à louer pour deux heures... et à south beach, le seul qu'on ait trouvé à un tarif abordable était le Clay hotel (50 eur). Le soir on est allés se promenés dans la partie animée de south beach

Day 38 - Monday 16th of april - Miami - Keys - Miami

Weather: Miami - sunny - 71°F

This morning we found a hostel where we gonna pass the next two nights (south beach hostel, 60 $). Then we found a flat in south beach as I (Ludovic) gonna stay here. It's situated at 3 blocks of the beach and 2 of the main street (500 $ / month). At 2 pm, we left in direction of the keys for our last visit. It was wonderfull. The colour of the see is so nice, you have the impression to be in the Caribean... We came back at 9 pm, stayed a bit in the hostel and went out in the nightclubs of south beach for the last time together as tomorrow we have to sleep early.

Jour 38 - Lundi 16 avril - Miami - Keys - Miami

Météo: Miami - ensoleillé - 23°C

Ce matin on a trouvé une auberge de jeunesse où passer les deux prochaines nuits (south beach hostel, 45 eur). Ensuite, on a trouvé un apartement car je (ludovic) vais rester un peu ici. Il est situé à 3 blocks de la plage et 2 de la rue principale. (350 $ / mois). A 2 heures, on est parti en direction des Keys pour notre denière excursion. C'était super. La couleur de l'eau est si belle, on se croirait aux Caraibes.... Nous sommes rentrés à 21h. On s'est reposés un peu à l'auberge puis sommes sortis pour notre dernère soirée ensemble car demain soir, on doit se coucher tôt.

ON A ATTEINT LES 1000 VISITES. MERCI A TOUS...

Day 39 - Tuesday 17th of april - Miami

weather: Miami - sunny - 81°F

It was the last day.... and we enjoyed it. We went to miami beach and stay there the afternoon. The see was one of the most beatifull we never seen. It's the parasise. The water was about 75°F! So nice. It was hot aswell on the beach, and we are now both burnt!! Elmo aswell, have a look at the picture, he is so red! (maybe because he is with two lovely ladys! For the last night, we enjoyed a nice cocktail on the beach by thinking at you!! Cheers! Then we went to sleep as we have to wake up early tomorrow.

Jour 39 - Mardi 17 avril - Miami

Météo: Miami - ensoleillé - 28°C

C'était le dernier jour... et on l'a apprécié. On est allés à la plage de Miami et on y est restés l'après-midi. La mer était l'une des plus belles qu'on ait jamais vue. Le paradis. L'eau était à une température de 25°! Trop bien. Il faisait chaud aussi sur la plage et est à l'heure actuelle tous les deux cramés!! Elmo aussi, regardez la photo, il est tout rouge (ou peut être est ce parce qu'il est en compagnie de deux jolies filles!). Pour notre dernière soirée, on est allés se prendre un petit cocktail sur la plage en pensant à vous! A la vôtre! Ensuite on est allés se coucher car demain il faut se lever tôt.
